Our Teacher

Ms Jan

Let us introduce Jan Wallace, or teacher Jan. She’s been with us at Gold Bar Preschool since 2023, but has had loads of formal and informal experience working with young children for over twenty years. She has a degree in Elementary Education and a huge passion for all things early childhood! She was our EA for 2 years prior to being hired as the lead teacher, and we are SO lucky to have her!

She loves to create spaces that ignite curiosity, exploration and are beautiful to look at and spend time in. By creating interesting learning opportunities, she believes the children will feel comfortable with themselves and become confident in their abilities. She encourages exploration of the world inside the classroom and out, making sure to get some fresh air every day!
